Our Facilities
Walcott Street Surgical Centre is a Department of Health (Level B) licensed and ACHS accredited facility, it is located within the “Old Church” at 41 Walcott Street, Mount Lawley, and has received some pioneering renovations to provide our four consulting rooms, two procedure suites, reception and patient waiting areas with a fresh modern twist, whilst still maintaining some of the unique architectural features.
The facility is unique in its function as it provides subspecialist surgical services using light sedation or local anaesthetic for common medical conditions.
So what benefit is this to patients?
Our procedures suites have been designed specifically to provide patients the opportunity to receive their treatment by specialist surgeons using the most up to date technology and techniques. We believe that giving patients the option of light sedation or Local Anaesthetic creates greater flexibility in their treatment planning.
Our surgeons also have close ties and admitting rights at The Park Private Hospital in Mount Lawley for those patients who may require General Anaesthetic.
The waiting time from consultation to treatment is considerably reduced and due to the nature of light sedation or local anaesthesia, a patient’s recovery time is generally faster.

| Public TransportWe are close to public transport, with stops on Walcott Street and Beaufort Street. There is a train station within walking distance and several bus stops near by. - Turn right onto Walcott St
- Walk up Walcott Street to The Church on the corner of Walcott Street and Curtis Street Opposite Forrest Park Oval.
