Direct Referrals

Disorders of the Temporomandibular Joint infrequently require surgical management.
Please consider direct referral to Dr Ramesh Balasubramanian or Dr Robert Delchano who will on refer if surgical management is required.

Disorders that can be directly referred to Specialist OMFS include:

  • Ankylosis/TMJ Dislocation/Fracture
  • Neoplasm/Congenital Disease
    • Aplasia
    • Hypoplasia
    • Hyperplasia
  • Acute closed lock
